Ensure maximum performance of your Exotac nanoSPARK™Lighter with fresh flints. As flints wear, performance declines linearly. Be sure to always have spare flints ready and available for use by storing extra flints in the tinder capsule for convenience. You can easily replace flints following these steps. Ferrocerium flint works even when wet, offering up to 500 fire-starting strikes.

TIP: 

If the old flint gets stuck and is worn down sufficiently, simply add another flint behind it. However, if the old flint exceeds the optimal length (is too long), the spring may resist reassembly. If this happens, just remove the new flint and persistently wear down the old one until it accommodates the new flint.
