The TOPS Armageddon Machete features a total length of 16 1/2 inches and a robust 10 3/4-inch blade crafted from 1095 high carbon steel, coated with a durable black traction finish. Its full tang construction ensures strength and durability. The machete is equipped with black micarta handles, complete with a lanyard for enhanced grip. For secure storage and transport, it comes with a black ballistic nylon sheath featuring a Kydex liner. Designed by Trace Rinaldi, this machete combines functionality with a thoughtful and durable design.

Featured in the November 2008 edition of Blade Magazine, an intriguing article titled "Big Bad Bush Knives" delved into the TOPS Armageddon Machete and its relevance to bushcraft and survival. Associate editor Brendan O’Brien prefers not to categorise the Armageddon as a traditional machete even though it does possess the capability to function as one.

The concept behind the Armageddon was to merge the attributes of a machete with those of a substantial camp or chopping knife. Unlike typical machetes crafted from thin stock designed for cutting vines and foliage, the Armageddon boasts a substantial 6mm thickness with a full-flat-ground-re-curved blade. This design equips it to handle a wide range of tasks, from everyday chores to heavier duties such as wood chopping and shelter construction. According to Trace Rinaldi, the designer behind the Armageddon from TOPS Knives, 'Essentially, this represents a North American interpretation of a machete.'"
