Retains up to 90% body heat in cold weather and even deflects heat in hot climates, this thermal blanket can be used to offset hypothermia reactions. 

Can be used as a ground cover, signalling device for Search and Rescue (SAR) or a liner for a bag to carry water and there are many more uses (see below).
