Condor bushcraft parang, excellent value for money

by Chris

Machete ; excellent quality, perfect steel thickness for it's intended applications, the blade grind is perfectly symmetrical (not wavy or more ground on one side then the other) razor sharp factory edge, handle is comfortable and grippy , has a small guard to help prevent your fingers slipping onto the edge , a palm swell at the pommel end to help retain the Machete during chopping or slashing, and a lanyard hole. The sheath is excellent quality, heavy duty canvas with both double stitching and rivets, has a generous belt loop, heavy duty snap for blade retention , a small pouch for sharpening stone , or firesteel etc and a leg tie down. No molle attachment facility but to me that's not a deal breaker. A quick note on survival supplies Australia staff , they were courteous and helpful .

Bushmans delight!

by Brent

A wise man who was in the British SAS promoted this very tool. It truly is one of the best bush companions you could have. Old Lofti had a timber handle on his but I think the poly handle on this machine trumps it.
<br>If you only want one tool for the bush, listen to Lofti, this is the one... 100 bucks - bargan!
