Extendable to 1.8m, 2.2m or the XL Tarp Pole which extends to 2.2mm and uses 3 telescopic aluminium poles and packs a little bigger than the other poles allowing for a larger range of options for pitching your DD Tarp.
The DD 1.8m Tarp Pole
Adjustable to any height from 0.6m up to 1.8m. Using 2, 3 or 4 of the sections makes this pole suitable for use with many tarp and tent set-ups. The 1.8m Tarp Pole has 4 sections which firmly slot together, allowing a variation of heights and tension for your DD Tarp or SuperLight Tent. Weighing well under half a kilogram, this aluminium pole ensures a sturdy set-up without weighing you down on the way to the campsite. Modular construction and solid support.
Please Note: The DD Tarp Pole - 1.8m is designed for use with DD Hammocks tarp tent range and for solo shelters. For tarps larger than DD's 3m x 3m model, using the DD XL Tarp Pole is recommended.
The DD 2.2m Tarp Pole
Lightweight, yet seriously strong support pole, ideal for use with DD Hammocks range of tents & tarps. The 2.2m Tarp Pole consists of 4 separate sections which connect robustly together, with the height adjustment coming from a simple-to-use screw system on the base section. There are no preset heights, you can choose the length of the pole down to a millimetre!
A secure plastic foot prevents slipping on the ground and protects the material on your product, whilst the tip section of the pole has a blunt spike designed to slot securely into the eyelets on your tent or tarp. There is also a loop so you can tie off your guy-lines, doubly securing your set-up.
With a very tall maximum height of 2.2m, this pole is strong enough to support some of DD's largest products. However, if you need to stay lower to the ground, you can omit one of the central sections and set the height nice and low to the ground with the screw adjustment.
Please Note: Due to its longer length this pole is made of thicker aluminium (stronger) than the shorter 1.8m pole. It results in a strong pole for the size.
The DD XL Tarp Pole
This DD telescopic aluminium pole is designed for creating taller and higher tarp shelters, or pitching DD Hammocks range of Tents. Quick, easy to set up and adjust, sturdy and versatile, the DD Tarp Pole - XL Size is constructed from 3 telescopic sections, extending from 110cm to 220cm. This allows for a large range of options for pitching your DD Tarp. With one pointed end and one blunted end, your options are endless! This pole is a little bigger pack size than DD's other poles but is the quickest pole to set up and adjust to desired height. Ideal for car camping (for tarps, porches or awnings), use in gardens or for anytime pack size is not too important.
