ESEE-4 S35VN Grey/Black G-10 3D Handle

This ESEE 4 knife has a 114mm CPM S35VN stainless steel blade which does not require a lot of maintenance. This solid survival knife with a blade made from this martensitic stainless steel will retain its sharpness a lot longer than ESEE's 'traditional' 1095 carbon steel without having to sharpen it often. As such this knife is weather resistant. The ESEE 4 S35VN Knife is meant for cutting tasks, not batoning. 

This fixed blade knife has a full tang blade attached with a 3D G10 handle. The traditional ESEE scales are flat and angular and the 3D scales of the Grey/Black handle makes it ergonomic with the ability to get a good grip over the knife. The ESEE 4 Knives are great bushcraft and camping fixed blade knives. 

About the CPM S35VN Steel

CPM S35VN Steel is a martensitic stainless steel known for its strength, corrosion resistance and durability, and does not require a lot of maintenance. CPM S35VN Steel is tougher than CPM30VN and offers improved edge retention over conventional high chromium steels such as 440C and D2 due to its production process and chemical composition.
