ESEE 6HM-K Modified Handle ESEE-6HM-K

The ESEE-6HM-K is the ESEE 6 series knife with a modified handle. The ESEE 6HM-K by ESEE Knives and Jeff Randall features a drop point fixed blade made of 1095 carbon steel, with a maximum thickness of 4.78mm, a Rockwell hardness of 55-57, a 152.4mm cutting edge, a flat grind, the ESEE logo and a non reflective black powder coat finish. The ESEE 6HM-K has full tang construction for strength; canvas Micarta scales for comfort, and a lanyard hole. A black Kydex sheath with clip plate is included. The ESEE 6HM-K Knife has an overall length of 279.4mm, and it weighs 306g without the sheath. The ESEE 6 series knives are made for wilderness survival and are tactical knives. This ESEE 6 HM-K Knife has a rounder handle than the traditional ESEE 6 and does not have a finger choil.

ESEE knives made from high carbon 1095 steel can rust and stain if not properly cared for, especially on the cutting edge and around the laser engraving. It is the user's responsibility to keep the blades properly lubricated and cleaned. Using a dry film rust inhibitor on the blade is suggested. Use Lok-Tite when assembling any hardware, such as attaching the clip plate to the sheath.
