ESEE Laser Strike
Description
The ESEE Laser Strike is a tactical knife by ESEE Knives which is a great survival tool for the outdoorsman that features ferrocerium flint and tinder tabs inside the removable Micarta handle with bow drill divot.
The Laser Strike Fire Starter has a 121mm drop point fixed blade made of 1095 carbon steel, with a maximum thickness of 4.8mm, a Rockwell hardness of 55-57, a notched thumb rest for secure grip, the ESEE logo and a non reflective black textured powder coat finish.
The Laser Strike has full tang construction for strength. A black moulded sheath with handle removal washer and clip plate, and lanyard hole.
The ESEE Laser Strike Knife has an overall length of 254mm, and it weighs 269g without the sheath.
From the ESEE website regarding 1095 steel: ESEE knives made from high carbon 1095 steel will rust and stain if not properly cared for, especially on the cutting edge and around the laser engraving. It is the user's responsibility to keep the blades properly lubricated and cleaned. We suggest using a dry film rust inhibitor on the blade. Use Lock Tite when assembling any hardware, such as attaching the clip plate to the sheath.
