Fox Sherpa Bush Knife FX-610

The Fox Sherpa Bushman FX-610 is a large survival bushcraft knife, made for the more demanding tasks. The blade is enhanced with an interesting grind. The tip is relatively thin with a flat grind towards the secondary V-edge. The back part of the edge is thick, in a type of scandivex grind. A combination between a scandi and convex grind. Perfect for strength and sharpness retention.

The blade is made from D2 Steel. This is a tough type of steel that is easy to sharpen. You do, however, need to be careful for rust: D2 is not completely stainless. As such it can change colour a bit if you store it while it is still wet or dirty. The handle is made from micarta. Incredibly strong and it feels great in hand. In time micarta will absorb the greases and sweat from your hands. With this each knife will become unique in time! You use this knife like a survival knife, or like an all-round camping knife. You can safely carry it with you in the included leather sheath. With both a dangler belt loop and 2 horizontal belt loops.

The Sherpa Leather Sheath can be used both in vertical and horizontal positions thanks to the separable loops. Idroglider is a special non-stick coating made of PTFE that ensures long life and rust resistance.
