It is a digital portable receiver designed for both everyday use & emergency preparedness applications. As an emergency preparedness tool, it offers different methods to power up including an AC/DC adapter (NOT included), a built-in rechargeable 2,000 mAh lithium battery (Included) that can be charged by the optional AC adapter (NOT included), by hand cranking or by the USB cable (Included), and the patented flip-up 180-degree adjustable solar panel provides power for the radio even when no battery is installed. With its revolutionary design and versatile functions, it’s not only an ideal choice of a bedside radio but also an off grid power generator, an indispensable tool for emergency preparedness purposes, travelling, camping, backpacking and other outdoor activities.
The KA900 has a wide range of band reception including AM, FM, Shortwave and NOAA weather stations. The 7-weather channels are pre-programmed and numbered from 1-7, you can easily and conveniently tune into the stations by turning the tuning knob, no more guess work involved. Plus if the radio is set at the “Alert” mode, it will be automatically activated when it receives the alert signals from the NOAA weather stations (NOTE: NOAA is only valid operational in the US).
Combining dual 1.5-inch speakers and pure digital circuitry, the KA900 delivers uncompromising sound quality and enhanced listening experience with outstanding clarity and minimal distortion. The Voyager Max is equipped with the latest Bluetooth technology that allows you to wirelessly stream audio/music from a Bluetooth compatible device, such as a smart phone.
