The LT Wright Camp MUK is a modern version of the Nessmuk style of knife blade. It excels at slicing and skinning chores. While an excellent slicer, the Camp MUK also handles other outdoor tasks encountered while hunting, hiking and camping.
The blade edge starts curving at the ricasso area so there is plenty of "belly" for slicing chores. This heavy duty knife features AEB-L stainless steel, a squared spine for firesteel use and a large lanyard hole. The handle is shaped very nicely for comfort during times of extended use. The handle scales are attached with "fisheye" bolts and two ton epoxy for a lifetime of trouble-free use.
This LT Wright Camp Muk Knife is made from AEB-L Stainless Steel which is gaining quite a reputation due to its great performance.
AEB-L performs much like carbon steel which is fantastic when you consider that it is stainless steel.

AEB-L is a Swedish stainless razor steel. It is a very pure, fine grained alloy (as much so as powder steels). When heat treated properly, produces very small, fine grain, which positively affects edge holding, edge stability and toughness. This steel is known for the ability to take a very fine edge. It has extremely high corrosion resistance with a medium range wear resistance making it very easy to sharpen.
AEB-L is made up of Carbon: .67%, Chromium: 13.00%, Manganese: .60%, Phosphorus: .025%, Sulfur: .015%, Silicon: .40%.
