Handcrafted LT Wright Gen 5 A2 Saber Grind Black Micarta Knife

This knife is a larger camp fixed blade that will serve a lifetime of use. LT Wright chose A2 tool steel for this amazing cutting tool. The blade is Saber ground with a secondary micro convex, which happens when we hard buff the edge. This makes for a superior edge in both retention and cutting ability.

The versatile spear point blade is a bushcraft classic and lends itself well to nearly any task, from woodcarving to skinning to drilling. Each edge is finished by expert sharpeners, and the spine of the blade features a crisp, 90-degree angle for scraping or striking a ferro rod, also known as a firesteel.

The saber grind on this knife lends itself well to all manner of tasks. The primary grind is flat, while the edge itself is convexed. This adds durability to the edge and helps it perform well for woodworking, skinning, food prep, and slicing.

The Genesis also includes a premium American made leather dangler sheath with a slot for a 9.5mm fire steel.
