The LifeStraw Go 2-Stage Filtration Water Bottle works by incorporating a two-stage filtration process into a refillable water bottle so you can access safe drinking water with you on the go. Lifestraw Go 2-Stage is a leak-proof, BPA-free water bottle that is great for camping, hiking, boating, traveling and emergencies. The 2-stage water filtration process includes:
Stage 1: The 0.2 micron microfilter with a hollow fibre membrane removes 99.9999% of bacteria (E. coli) and removes 99.999% (log 5) of parasites (Giardia, Cryptosporidium, etc.), and 99.999% (log 5) of microplastics. This replacement filter will filter up to 4000 litres.
Stage 2: The activated carbon capsule filter is used to reduce chlorine, bad taste and odour as well as reducing organic chemical matter. These replacement capsules will filter up to 100 litres and should be replaced every 3 months.
