Exact replica of a Swedish M44 but in stainless steel

I own and use original Swedish M40 (stainless) and M44 (aluminium) originals and keep one or the other in the Perenties' "camping" kits. I was interested to find the Pathfinder offering with a view to replacing the aluminium M44 in one of the vehicles with something similar, but in stainless steel.
<br>Visually, the PFM40 looks just like a Swedish aluminium M44, except it's made of stainless steel. Unlike the originals, which both have aluminium stands, the Pathfinder windscreen/pot stand is stainless steel and is super heavy duty.
<br>Parts are fully interchangeable between the Pathfinder and the M40 and M44.
<br>The Pathfinder unit would have been better value if it had come with an alcohol burner, but for whatever reason Uncle Dave's product development honchos left it out.

What a beautifully made mess kit. It just arrived today. I have seen the aluminium versions in various condition in Army surplus stores but didn't buy. This Pathfinder version is much better & surprisingly lightweight being made from stainless steel. The sort of gear to last a lifetime.
