How long will Tritium last?

Tritium, with a half-life of nearly twelve and a half years, demonstrates a noteworthy pattern in its luminous intensity. Past experiences have shown that tritium's luminosity tends to diminish noticeably when it reaches the age of 10 to 12 years. As a guideline, we advise users to anticipate a reliable 10 year performance from Cammenga's tritium micro lights. While the compass itself may continue functioning beyond this timeframe, it's essential to be aware that the night-time luminous feature will progressively fade after 10 to 12 years.
