Description

JG5 Fixed Blade Knife by Esee

The ESEE JG5 fixed blade was designed by James Gibson and inspired by the "Nessmuk" knife carried by adventurer, writer, and early conservationist, George Washington Sears, who wrote under the pen name, Nessmuk.

Reimagined as a modern-day bushcraft knife, the broad blade is constructed of 1095 carbon steel with a tumbled black oxide finish. The shape lends itself well to skinning and butchering, and is sure to satisfy the traditionalists with its full flat grind.

Brown scalloped Micarta scales are bolted to the full tang knife, providing incredible traction. The three bolts are user removable, making the JG5 an ideal platform for user modification by adding liners for more thickness, or creating custom scales from scratch. An integrated lanyard hole adds even more options for customisation.

A sturdy leather sheath is included, dyed brown for a traditional look and feel. The JG5 is backed up by ESEE's No-Questions-Asked Lifetime Warranty, so you needn't hesitate to use this knife hard !
