ESEE Junglas Knife Orange OD-OR

The Junglas Knife by ESEE Knives (pronounced "Hoonglas") is named after the Colombian Jungla Special Operations Forces, designed for Latin American Jungle And Counter-Narcotics Operations is a BIG knife for BIG tasks. The Junglas, with its 4.76mm thick, 254mm long blade, is ideal for situations where a larger knife is needed, and at 652g it packs a lot of power ! It's a great knife for camp use and for most big bush crafting needs. It also features a blunt "hammer" pommel with lanyard hole and a plain cutting edge. The removable handles are made of durable Micarta. 

The blade width measures 50.8mm from cutting edge to spine, and the razor sharp cutting edge is sharpened to approximately 20 degrees. With Rowen's highly respected heat treat process, you can be sure your blade will hold its edge exceptionally well. The blades textured power coating is exceedingly durable, and will not wear off easily. A brilliant outdoors knife with the strength and rigidity of a fixed blade knife while still maintaining the cutting efficiency of a machete.  

Comes with a Kydex sheath and "Adjustible Sheath Tensioner" screw which allows you to fine-tune your knife-in-sheath fit. Also included is a heavy-duty Cordura backing with adjustable snap retainer. The sheath screws are made from stainless steel. The lashing holes facilitate storing a length of 550 paracord by wrapping around the sheath and through the open holes. The entire sheath system is ambidextrous to enable left or right hand carry. 

While 1095 is a top choice for professional cutlery designed for hard use, it will rust and stain if not proper cared for -- especially on the cutting edge and around the laser engraving. It is the user's responsibility to keep the blades properly lubricated and cleaned.
