How to Replace the Strikers:

Strike-Anywhere Strikers:  
These pressure-sensitive adhesive pads with abrasive are exclusive to strike-anywhere matches. To replace, peel off the old pad and clean any adhesive residue. Then, peel the backing off the new pad and apply it to the MATCHCAP XL™.

Safety Match Strikers (Red Phosphorus):  
The red phosphorus striker, commonly found on matchboxes, is what you'll encounter here. To replace, remove the old pad and clean any adhesive residue. Peel the backing off the new pad and apply it to the MATCHCAP XL™.

Tips:

The red phosphorus striker works with both safety matches and strike-anywhere matches.
