Extrema Ferrum Rescue Knife is a compact tool designed for rescue missions, created in collaboration with Andrea Micheli, an expert in military and law enforcement, journalism, and shooting instruction. It features 3 blades with specific functions. The main blade, 3mm thick, is built for heavy use to preserve the edges of the other blades. Its serration cuts larger ropes or textiles, while the plain edge functions as a regular knife. The second blade serves as a scalpel for precise cuts and emergency actions. The third, smaller blade functions as a lanyard cutter and can also handle aramid paracords.

This tool allows emergency cuts to free the injured from their clothing by combining the main blade and scalpel. Both the lanyard cutter and scalpel are replaceable. Ferrum Rescue's thin, compact shape features anodised anticorodal aluminum handle scales, offering a light, slim, and durable grip. It can be easily carried in pockets, small flashlight holsters, or attached to a single MOLLE system webbing.

Equipped with a hard-metal glass breaker and a flipper-assisted opening, the blade's ball-bearing rotation ensures smooth movement. This mechanism enables swift one-handed blade opening. The time-tested liner lock provides secure locking, while the reversible clip is positioned on the back for convenience. Available in Red and Black versions, the Red variant aids in locating the knife after a fall, emphasising its rescue connotation, while this Black version has a more tactical and discreet appearance.
