How to Clean your Cartridge and Valve

To dry a wet Cartridge thoroughly, press it into an empty (no water) Outer Cup and discard any excess water. Disassemble the One-Way Valve and allow the Cartridge to air-dry completely (approximately 2-4 days depending on humidity). Clean and dry the One-Way Valve, then reassemble your GeoPress Bottle. For convenience, the one-way valve is dishwasher safe. Regularly wash the valve between uses to eliminate any residual smell or residue from powders or other beverages. Simply hand wash with warm, soapy water or place it in the dishwasher. Avoid exposing the Cartridge to any type of soap or cleaning agent.
