KA-BAR Combat Kukri
Description
This heavy duty chopper gets its shape from its older sibling, the Kukri Machete. At about 80% the size of the larger version, the Combat Kukri performs just as well at clearing brush and small tree limbs, yet is a capable tactical knife. Its smaller profile makes it a little easier for toting around - at less than half a kilo, it's a more appropriately sized tool for combat carry as well.
It's tough to argue with the success of the world's most recognisable, time-tested, fixed blade knife so Ka-Bar did what any smart company would do, they didn't change the original design, they expanded upon it. The high carbon, non-reflective black blade is epoxy powder-coated with tests proving the finish is more durable than ever.
The classic oval shape of the original Kabar remains and has been modernised with a material nearly impervious to sweat, chemicals, water and wear, Kraton G. The improved weight near the tip and kukri design shape lends the design to a much wider array of uses than the original fighting utility knife.Specifications
