Chemicals were tested at 95% concentration and 75°F / 23.8°C, except for Sodium Hydroxide, which was tested at 50% concentration. Kappler ChemTape is similar to Gorrila Tape.

Both the Dupont Tychem Tape and Kappler ChemTape have their advantages and disadvantages. The Kappler ChemTape is similar to Gorilla Tape, whilst the Dupont Tychem Tape is similar to Duct Tape. ChemTape has fibres and is better suited for applying to areas where you want to massage it into gaps, especially where strength is desired. The Tychem is better at stretching to seal gaps. If you only could choose one tape, then go for the Kappler Chemtape, unless you wanted specific protection from a chemical that is listed with the Dupont Tychem Tape. The Kappler ChemTape adhesive does last longer than the Dupont Tychem Tape. If you can buy both, then do it.<br><br>I mainly use the Kappler ChemTape to seal lids of buckets that store strong salts, such as Calcium Hypochlorite and Calcium Chloride. I like how I can undo the tape to access the salts, then reseal with the same piece of tape.
