Made up of different stones and strips that work together to give you a sharp edge on your blade there's a variety of diamond hones with different grits to suit different sharpening needs. The extra coarse 70 grit diamond hone is perfect for repairing heavily damaged edges or reprofiling a knife's bevel. The coarse 120 grit diamond hone is ideal for sharpening very dull edges, while the medium 280 grit diamond hone is best for maintaining and sharpening slightly dull edges. The fine 600 grit diamond hone is perfect for touching up and polishing an already sharpened edge.
