The CM-I01 features a state-of-the-art design with a one-piece visor. It utilises standard 40mm gas mask cartridges to provide protection against various toxins, chemicals, or hazardous byproducts at work or home. The visor is made from scratch-resistant polycarbonate, while the mask frame and oro-nasal cup are constructed from thermoplastic rubber. The connectors are made of polyamide (PA), and the harnesses are made from EPDM. With its unique design, the CM-I01 contours to fit a wide range of face shapes and sizes, ensuring a perfect seal and optimal user protection. It is a certified class 3 respirator, meeting minimum standards for mechanical, heat, and flame resistance. Maintenance is minimal, as no tools are required for end-user maintenance. Please Note: That the CM-I01 is designed for industrial and general use and is NOT a dedicated CBRN gas mask. While it can block many CBRN agents when used with the appropriate filter, the face seal is not resistant to blister agents. Filters for the CM-I01 are sold separately.

Storage Guidelines for the CM-I01 Full-Face Respirator:

To ensure the longevity and effectiveness of your CM-I01 Full-Face Respirator, it is important to follow proper storage practices. Here are some easy-to-understand guidelines:

• Store the respirator in a dark and cool area that is free from dust and debris
• Avoid sudden temperature changes, and maintain a storage temperature between 10°C and 50°C ( -50°F to 122°F)
• Ensure the storage environment has proper ventilation to prevent the buildup of moisture
• Keep the respirator away from direct exposure to radiant heat and sunlight
• Do not store the mask together with fuels, solvents, lubricants, or other flammable substances, including chemicals
• Avoid storing the respirator near electrical machines or appliances that generate sparks or discharges during operation, as they can create ozone

FAQs

Will this mask protect against tear gas?

With the appropriate filter, yes, it will protect against tear gas. For filter options, use the P-CAN or NBC-77 SOF for this application.

What is the main difference between this respirator and the CM-6M or 7M? Will this respirator work for CBRN threats?

The CM-I01 is designed to be an affordable general purpose respirator, and there is no drinking system or speech diaphragm (like that on the 6M and 7M). As for threats, with the right filter installed, this mask will work for CBRN threats but will NOT work for blister agents like sulfur mustard (H,HD,HT), nitrogen mustard (HN-1, HN-2, HN-3), Lewisite (L), and halogenated oximes (CX). In order to protect against blister agents, the face seal should be made of a different type of rubber which is resistant to those threats.
