Introducing the Fire Strip Roll™ - a wax-infused paper roll for easy fire starting. Procamptek's oxygen-free wax-infused fire starter is made of thick and fibrous paper, infused with high-quality wax for reliable performance in any weather condition. The wax weatherproofs the paper and allows it to burn easily and constantly. To light the Fire Strip Roll, simply use a flint-based ignition, such as an empty Bic lighter, Exotac Nanospark, or Zippo flint. Keep a Fire Strip Roll in your bug out bag, survival kit, fire kit or hiking backpack and always be prepared to build a fire when needed.
To use, tear off a small length of tinder from the inside of the roll, and work it with your fingers to break up the wax coating. Then, make small, rough tears to expose the paper fibers, apply a flint spark (or open flame), and add additional Fire Strip Roll material and/or other tinder as needed to build a larger flame.

- Simply grab the loose end on the inside of the roll and pull out the needed amount of paper
- Rip off the section that you need and tuck the loose end back into the roll
- Take a small section of the removed paper and buff it together between your finger tips to loosen up the paper’s fibres
- Slowly tear the buffed paper to expose the fibres and ignite with your available fire starter

Quick and Easy but don't expect a huge burn time

This product is excellent value. If you consider that you get 55ft of the fire strip roll and you only need to use less than a foot if you are using twigs or fatwood to establish a fire it is excellent.

<br>I really like the way you can pull the fire starter out from the center and it stays coiled up. This means you can wrap it around a fat wood stick or twigs and it starts quickly.

<br>One limitation is the burn time. It will not burn for 5 minutes, some people say it will burn for 1-2 minutes. With wind this will only burn for 30 seconds. But it burns hot and fast which is enough to get most tinder going.

A very easy & convenient fire starting tinder to have with me. I also like how it's packaged in its own dispenser. Quite economical too with water proof properties. Easily lights with my firesteel.
