RIODINE 10% Povidone Iodine Solution 15ml Dropper Bottle

Used in households around the country, this antiseptic is recommended for the antisepsis of minor cuts and abrasions and the treatment of minor skin infections. Riodine  Antiseptic Topical (only applied to skin) Solution kills bacteria commonly responsible for minor wound and minor skin infections. It will not permanently stain skin and natural fabrics.

Riodine Povidone-Iodine 10% is the most effective antiseptics available, inactivating infecting organisms including bacteria. Povidone-iodine solutions are a golden-brown colour because of the iodine content. This colour shows the area that has been treated and also denotes the activity of the product. As the iodine is depleted from the solution, the colour fades. They do not permanently stain the skin or natural fabrics and the treated areas may be bandaged, taped or otherwise covered.

MINOR CUTS / ABRASIONS AND MINOR SKIN INFECTIONS
Usage Directions :
Use a fresh clean cotton bud, gauze, or cotton wool to apply the ointment. Once you have applied Riodine ointment, the area can then be bandaged.

Ingredients
Povidone-Iodine U.S.P. 10% (equivalent to 1% available Iodine).

Storage
Store below 25oC. Protect from light.

Warnings
Always read the label. Use as directed. Avoid applying to deep wounds and large areas of broken skin as excessive absorption of iodine may occur. Riodine should be used for infection control of wounds rather than general wound management. For external use only. If skin irritation or rash occurs, discontinue use and consult a doctor. Please do not use if you are allergic to Iodine.
