The 7.7 metre Hayate has 4 extensions: the top extension (S), middle extension (M), lower middle extension (L), and handle extension (LL). Please note that the Hayate Extension Pole Sections are specific to the size of the pole saw they are designed for and cannot be used interchangeably with Hayate pole saws that differ in length.

The letters in brackets (S), (M), (L), and (LL) indicate the circumference of the extension and help you determine which size clamp is suitable for your pole.
