Embracing this legacy, the Yacare proudly joins the incredible line of TOPS knives and tools. Designed by TOPS’ GM Craig Powell during his ventures in Costa Rica, the genesis of the Yacare can be traced to the distinctive machetes adorning the locals' belts and adorning decorative showcases. Featuring a style equivalent to that of barong-styled blades, the Yacare Machete is forged from resilient 5mm thick, 1095 carbon steel and coated with TOPS’ groundbreaking Tungsten Cerakote finish. The Yacare boasts a resilient, all-belly blade primed for effortlessly slicing through vines, dense thickets, and sturdy timber. Its ergonomically contoured black canvas Micarta handles offer a good grip, and is ideal for medium to heavy-duty cutting tasks. A great companion for bushcraft wilderness adventures and camping expeditions.
