Ferrum Rescue by Extrema Ratio is a specialised tool designed explicitly for rescue missions, developed in partnership with Andrea Micheli, an authority in military and law enforcement, journalism, and shooting instruction. A rescue knife with 3 distinct blades, each serving specific purposes. The primary blade is engineered for robust use, safeguarding the edges of the accompanying blades and has a thickness of 3mm. Its serrated edge effortlessly slices through larger ropes or textiles, while the plain edge operates as a regular knife. The second blade functions akin to a scalpel, delivering precise cuts and assisting in emergency actions. Meanwhile, the third, smaller blade serves as a lanyard cutter and adeptly manages aramid paracords.

This versatile tool facilitates swift emergency cuts to free injured individuals from their clothing, combining the main blade and scalpel functionalities. Both the lanyard cutter and scalpel are replaceable for continued efficiency. The Ferrum Rescue's sleek, slender form boasts anodised anticorodal aluminum handle scales, providing a lightweight, slim, and durable grip. Its compact size enables easy carry, fitting seamlessly into pockets, small flashlight holsters, or attached to a single MOLLE system webbing. Furnished with a robust hard-metal glass breaker and a flipper-assisted opening, the blade's ball-bearing rotation ensures seamless movement. This mechanism allows swift one-handed blade deployment. The trusted liner lock mechanism ensures a secure hold, while the reversible clip, positioned on the back for convenience, enhances versatility.

Comes in 2 colour variations, Red and Black, where the Red variant's distinct colour helps with locating the knife after a fall. Conversely, the Black version features a more tactical and discreet appearance, catering to diverse preferences and needs.
